At the International Scout and Guide Center Scouting Estate Zeewolde it is possible to hold summer and weekend camps with your Scouting group. A winter camp would also be a possibility. The camping site consists both out of sheltered camp sites in the forest and camp sites on the shores of the Nuldernauw. So there is a lot to experience for both land, air and water scouts. Hiking through the extensive forests of the Horsterwold, a sailing trip to the Scouting centre Harderhaven or to the islands in the neighbouring lakes, a visit to Walibi or Lelystad, all of that is possible.
Camping starts from 2016
International Scout and Guide Center Scouting Estate Zeewolde will open its doors in 2016 for the first groups of scouts or non-scouts wanting to camp there. This will be possible from March 25th (Easter Weekend) until November 1st 2016. The estate has a capacity to host 500 people, with the option to extend this to 1.500 for small and medium events and extend to 5.000 - 10.000 people in exceptional circumstances.
There are camping sites for groups from six until sixty campers, each with its own hearth. There will also be room on International Scout and Guide Center Scouting Estate Zeewolde for hikers who want to stay overnight. No pets are allowed on the site, with the exception of guiding dogs. In addition, no caravans, campers, trailers etc. will be allowed on the estate.
Would you like to reserve a spot in 2016? That is possible! For more information on prizes, facilities and possibilities, check the page reservations.
