The Scout Estate Zeewolde is situated in the Horsterwold nature reserve on the banks of the Nuldernauw. On the estate, scouts and non-scouts can camp on sheltered fields in the woods or on the banks near the water, and experience challenging outdoor activities and new adventures. Hiking through the vast woods of the Horsterwold, a sailing hike to Scout Centre Harderhaven or the islands in the lake. visit Walibi, Amsterdam or Lelystad, the possibilities are endless!
Campsites for groups vary from six to sixty campers, each with its own fire place. The Scout Estate Zeewolde can also be used for ramblers who want to stay for just one night and by anyone who just wants to spent one day there in the beautiful landscape. Rambling, mountain biking, horse riding, sailing, and cycling, it is all possible on the public accessible Scout Estate Zeewolde.
Scouting Nederland (the Netherlands national scout association) apart from camping, also uses the estate for her national activities such as the Nawaka (national water camp) and the National Jamboree for her youth members, and the Scout-In, the national bi-annual event for her volunteers. Scouting Academy, the training organisation of Scouting Nederland will use the site in the near future for training events for volunteers.
On the Scout Estate Zeewolde, children and youths can meet each other, move boundaries, and experience adventure that will remain with them for life!
